About this card
Every flower on "Garden at Dawn" was shaped by hand, petal by petal, before it found its place. The card is tall and slim (DL format, about 10 × 21 cm / 4 × 8.3 in). Underneath, lace, an embossed background and tiny pearls do quiet work; up close, every element casts its own shadow at its own height. The base is hand-scored from heavyweight paper; layer after layer — scrapbooking papers, chipboard, die-cut ornaments — went on until the composition settled into a single scene. The interior has a light insert for a dedication; on request I will write it for you and post the card straight to the recipient. For shipping it is packed in a stiffened box with padding — it will arrive in perfect condition.
